Well, this has really been the year of the workmen. The roof is done. The painting is done and is fabulous. But there have been some other problems that the Workmen had to be call back in. 
First, we had a pipe that broke in the wall and it was flooding our basement. They had to cut open the wall in the kitchen to get it out. The pipe is fixed but the hole isn't. Mom says she is going to hang a really big picture over it. 
Then, sadly, our septic tank filled with water all the way to the very top. Clearly this is not 
supposed to happen, the pump that should have been pumping stopped and it was all bad. I wonder what will break next?
