The Impossible List

Is it possible for your fingers to fall off? If so, mine are close. I have been working on a impossible painting list for Wednesday. If I were to get it done I would have to paint 50 pieces a day, which for me is impossible. Sometimes I think my boss is crazy, well, I'm sure that if you asked her she would say that she is defiantly insane. I mean even her cats name is psycho puss. gotta love her though. I need a break but the list it prohibiting it. errr

Squirrel

This little guy didn't seem to mind that I was so close to him, I really didn't use my zoomy lens at all.
Is zoomy a word?

Problem After Problem

Well, this has really been the year of the workmen. The roof is done. The painting is done and is fabulous. But there have been some other problems that the Workmen had to be call back in. First, we had a pipe that broke in the wall and it was flooding our basement. They had to cut open the wall in the kitchen to get it out. The pipe is fixed but the hole isn't. Mom says she is going to hang a really big picture over it. Then, sadly, our septic tank filled with water all the way to the very top. Clearly this is not supposed to happen, the pump that should have been pumping stopped and it was all bad. I wonder what will break next?

Still Here

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, things have been kind of crazy here. I have been doing rush orders for work, and today Bette called and gave me a rush rush order that has to be done by Thursday. Stephen went to school this weekend all the way up at Platsburg, about eight hours from here. We all drove up together to wish him well. Right now this is all that has happened. I am still here, I will post more soon.

The Reunion

The family reunion was rather boring since nobody was there. Well there were people there but I knew none of them. So many people brought their boyfriends and girlfriends that I forgot who were the ones I was related to and who were just visiting. Most of the conversations went something like this:

Hi, how are you doing?
Oh I'm fine.
It great to see you.
..um..who are you?
Well do you know that person over there?
No.
Well that is my mother's sister's step brother's wife he has several kids and two dogs. Do you know me now?
Haven't the foggiest.

The food sucked. There were no games. But the hayride did have hay!! Maybe too much hay, I was picking it out of my hair long after it was over. And Pap got Spencer with a very large hand full down his paints. Jello house were planed, Not a bad day.

A Little Laugh

My Mother was vacuuming outside the other day. It reminded me of the book about this woman that lived on a farm and she loved to vacuum. So she cleaned her house and then she started cleaning outside. She ended up sweeping up all the mud in the pig pen and than pig ran away to find more mud. I asked her several time when she was out there if the pigs were gone yet.
And
Today when we were at the pool Spencer wanted something to drink and we had nothing with us. There is a soda machine in the pool house and all he needed was sixty cents. He checked in the car and there was nothing so I told he to go get my purse. He asked me to go get it for him and I told him if he wanted the money he would have to go get it. So he went to the car and got my purse and brought it to me. Well, where I was sitting he had to walk back past the length of the pool and there were several of his friends and some fathers. Needless to say he got pick on and laugh at for having a purse. He went with it a little, swinging it and walking like a girl. It was rather funny.

Balls To The Walls Demo Team

Before

The demos were awesome! Stephen didn't win or burst into flames. He lasted about two minutes before he stalled, his gas line got pinched, probable when he smashed into the concrete barrier because his brakes went after the first or second hit. The bottom of his car also fall out. Not when he was driving it though, his friend Sam won the Lucky Dog but his car was not drivable so he used Stephen's, after they fixed the gas line. The Lucky Dog is when they randomly pick someone to came back in the final heat. I think Stephen had a rather large part it the destruction of Sam's car, he gave it some really good smashes. There were three or four people that did burst into flames. There was this one guy that his car caught fire and he climbed out the window so fast that he left his shoe behind, he had to wait for the fire department to diminish the flames so he could get it back. They let him continue but when he started his car up again it burst into flames again, he dived out even faster than the first time but he kept his shoes.
After Stephen's heat.
After Sam's heat. If you look closely you can see that the bottom of the car is sitting on the ground. The radiator water was leaking out so the car kept over heating and would not stay running, but after the heat was over and the car had time to cool down they drove it off the arena.

August

Happy first of August everybody! Maybe in this month something interesting will happen. However that is very unlikely ( I still live in Cattaraugus). I went to the fair in the old month which was only last Sunday, the fair is the same. Its always the same. The racing piglets never get older, the 4-h people always get blue ribbons no matter how bad the kids do. This Sunday is the demos which I will be going to, Stephen is in it and has been working on his car for a while. I will have pictures of it and some before and after shots of his car. It will be fun!
