Blood, Sweat,and Tears

The game against the Brazilians/New life is over. There were only four of the Brazilians playing, the fifth was on crutches ( didn't happen during our game) . The first half was well played, Spencer scored on a pk and it was two to one at the end of the half. However, they were just messing with us. In their earlier games they beat Portville 12 zip, our team can't come close to beating Portville. And another team forfeited at half time and refused to finish the game. They learn from their mistake and slowed way down so that we would finish the game. They came back the second half full tilt. And wow ( to say the least), I haven't seen soccer played that well..like..ever. They were really good.
But there should be a rule that you have to speak English when playing soccer against English speaking people. The one guy needed a translator. Georgie ( in the picture with Spencer) could really only say "no". It was kinda fun to watch his other teammates try to talk to him.

"No"
Georgie lifted his foot on a throw in.

" No....foot.....jump..no" his teammate said while make elaborate hand movements.

They did have a bit of a problem with pushing and off sides. But other than that they were very nice. But when you have some first year players against sweet Brazilians you get tears and blood. I don't think that the coach was helping at all.
I like Mr. Ward and I think its great that he is coaching, but he likes to yell....Loudly. And he has this thing with marking your man, that I think is silly. He assigns you a man to mark at all times, I think you should play your positions and mark who you have to. I feel so bad for Pat. It is his first year playing and he tries so hard to do it right. He has a bit of a mental problem and he can only see in twoD. Considering that he plays really well but he gets discourage quickly and having coach yelling at him is making it harder. Spencer got pulled from the game by coach because he was marking the wrong man; silly. But Mr. ward has really improved the team this year. Anywho, the one Brazilian did a successful bicycle kick, never seen that before. All in all the team played it hardest and we only lost 9 to 1.

Finding Boaz

Bean truckers, getting ready to truck their beans.

After the bean truckers were gone, we made our move.

And it was all good!

( even though I didn't find him)

A Stick, a Ladle, and a Wee Bit of Duct Tape

This is a pond water scooper.
We needed some pond water for a science experiment, and there is no better way of getting pond water out of a pond then with a pond water scooper. The newly engineered technology put behind this product prove that when using the pond water scooper there is little or no pain from bending over to scoop pond water. It is light weight and affordable, so not only rich people can enjoy the pain free experience of scooping pond water but the poor people as well. Many of us believe that the pond water scooper should be a essential addition to every household.

Soccer

Our home school soccer team has gotten a new name and new shirts. The team use to be blue and they were called the swordsmen. Nobody like the name swordsmen but that was the name we were given and that is what we were. This past year however they decided to change to the gladiators and are green and fabulous. The picture was taken at the home school soccer tournament in Binghamton. We went last Saturday and spent the whole day. They played four games and sadly lost all of them. Our team is not, shall we say..um..good. We won one game last year and we had to take some players from the other team because we were short. But considering that this year we have some first year players and some people that still don't know what they are doing, we did rather well. The first game of the day wasn't bad but the second we were clobbered. The third game I think was the best both teams were evenly matched I think they only lost by one. But the last game was just sad, everybody was tired and three of our players were injured. Spencer and Samantha were both remove from the field because of injuries. Tim still can't play because of his injury, Jackie is still limping, Molly's leg is all bruised Erin's back we hurting her and everybody else was just so dead tired. Anywho, they are playing "New Life" on Friday and they have five Brazilians and a African guy, the one Brazilian is the best under sixteen soccer player in his country, so pray for our team, they need it.

Fascinatingly Nasty

I have no idea why I suddenly developed a liking for large scary spiders. I saw this spider hanging on a fence and I thought that for a spider it was kinda pretty. It amazes me at how it could hang on with only a little thin strand of web.

I Have No Paint

I ran out of paint for my glass stuff. I can't paint anything! I feel like I should be doing things but I can't do them. My list still has things on it but I can't continue. This is horrible. I have nothing to do. I have resorted myself to dusting plants ( which I didn't realize was such a lovely shad of green). Woe is me.

Learn, Jam, Bowl

Co-op classes have starter again, we had our first class on Thursday. I wasn't planing to participate because I really did graduate this year, but mother is making me. She is teaching a biology class. I had started biology last year but I never completely finished the book so I'm in her class. Thankfully, I only have to take one class this year. Unfortunately, the class is the first one of the day and I have to hang out for something like two hours before Spencer and Samantha are finished. Luckily, my friend Maggie is skipping the second class, so I can hang out with her to pass the time. Spencer wants to form a band during lunch so he can jam with his friend. Today he is picking out song that he wants to play. And also according to him I am part of the awesomeness club, yeah me! It is so very weird to be back since I'm and the oldest student there, I've never been the oldest before and its creeping me out. Spencer and some other people in our class have asked were all the older kids are. It hadn't sunk in yet that they are the older kids. We have several new families that have joined our group this year. All of them have many little kids to Spencer's dismay, he wants families with "hot girls" to join. Starting soon we are planing to bowl after classes, they had a soccer game last Thursday so they couldn't do it. But that is going to be fun. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I will try to pencil it in my amazing new calender book.

Breather

Hey, happy September. I finish my list last night so I have some time to breath which is nice. But I doubt that that will last too long I'm heading out to drop of my stuff and I'll probably get a new list. I had some time to draw so i did. I don't know what kind of tree this is but it came out a little tropical. It lost a little something in scanning though.
I did this one a while ago but I like it so much that I wanted people to see it.
