A GoldfinchChestnut Sided Warbler.
While we were there he caught a good many birds, several Catbirds, a baby Junco, a chickadee, a Chestnut Sided Warbler, Goldfinch, a yellow bird that I cant remember the name of, and more. Me and Samantha or according to my mother Samantha and I both got to release a bird, I got a Catbird and she got the Goldfinch. When I let the Catbird go it sat on my hand for a short time and then flew away by way of the ground, it kinda dive bombed before it took off. A different Catbird later on did the same thing but he landed in the ditch by the road, smart guys. When the Chestnut Sided Warbler was set free Tom put him upside down on a girls head, he stay there until he was removed by Tom. Apparently this is an unnatural position for them and the bird still believed it was being held.
We left when at the end when the nets were taken down or rolled up, whichever. Around noon. It was fun and we always loves to see the cute birds.
