I want a Tan
This year I want a tan and seeing as how I don't tan it will be rather hard to do. I have been sitting in the sun a lot ( well not that much, when there is sun,which is never). My past kind of tan is I turn pink and then burn. This year will be different!!! Not sure how I'll accomplish it yet, a little sun here and there mite be ok but I will not turn pink. And definitely no farmer tans!

Safer road
I took my five hour driving course today, pointless let me tell you that! If the man put it all in a summery it would have taken him less then ten minuets. To add to the pain of it all the room was cold I spent the first three hours shaking, and the man teaching was a old football coach. I believe I know more about football then driving, I have nothing against football but having a quarterback compared to a car is a little much, for FIVE hours!! We also learn how to not drink and drive and how to not drink and drive and how to not drink and drive while smoking pot. Wow that was really worth twenty bucks!

Foxes on the Road
Last night we went to see Narnia with a group of friends, it was fun. I really liked the movie as a movie, it went off the book a little too much. The book is better. Well, anyway, on the way home we almost ran into a bunch of baby foxes that were on the road, there were at least five of them. Mom had to come to a complete stop because they were everywhere. While we were stopped a guy in a truck pulled up next to us and asked if we were alright (we were fine) and we told him about the foxes. He seemed happy about them and said "Well done" several times. It was kinda funny, none of us were expecting that.

Roofing blues
The process of the roof repair has slowed due to rain, a bad carpenter in the past, and Mr. Schapp's wife had surgery. The front porch roof it the only part that is not fully striped because back in the day a carpenter built the roof out of metal and little bitty bits of two-by-fours. It is so bad that the whole thing has to be rebuilt. Mr. Schapp says that the carpenter should have his tools taken away and he should never be allowed to build anything again. It has been raining for several days now, on and off. Hopefully, it will clear up a bit by Monday so he can get back to work. We are all a little tired of seeing the blue tarps.

Kittens
The kittens are growing! They have their eyes open now and have started to fight with each other, it's really funny to watch them. We had them out on the living room floor to walk around, their little legs shake when they try to move.
We have to give them back soon which will be sad but six cats don't really work in our house. We couldn't really name them because they are not ours but we call them Rolly, Sister Kitten, and Blue-eyed Babe.
Sushi and the kittens lived in the bathroom but the dog go in one day ( she and Sushi don't get along well) and the next day Samantha went in and came out saying the there was only one kitten left. Then Sushi came in, jumped in the box, pick up the last kitten and took him upstairs and put him under my dresser. She must have felt like they were no longer safe.

Stilts = Falling
The roof is still not done, the weather has slowed the process. They move their work inside to Spencer's room, hanging drywall and such. Mudding the ceiling on stilts, looks a little dangerous. We heard a really loud bang yesterday that made us all jump and we found out later that it was Mr. Schapp falling over. He's fine. The sun is out now so hopefully the weather will stay beautiful til Monday and then they can get back to work on the roof.

Happy Ending
The Envirothon is over....finely. It when really well actually, we were all very surprised by that. We were all sure we would do really bad seeing that for our oral presentation we started planing the night before, some people didn't get to bed until 2 in the morning. Even after we had finished we were sure we had all done bad. But at the awards team #1 go the highest score in the oral and actually set a new record in wildlife with a score of something like a 91 out of 100. They placed fourth overall. Team #2, the team I was on, didn't score that high but we were close...really close. Are worst was in soils, none of us studied for that part of the test, nobody is really to blame because we pushed it off to Samuel who wasn't even in the class we just needed a fourth person. It was fun, I got to ride around in a Gaiter all day, which in it self was fun. I still glad it is over.
