Some Call it Work

But we tend not too.

We visited the new packing and shipping center for GH studio. Its nice. I get to do my own inventory now.

This is what are warehouse "manager" aka Samuel does when he gets bored.

Concerning my bracelet give away winners, which is everyone, let me know what colors you want (you can have up to eight), and I'll send it to you.

Pass It On

Back when Stephen was still in high school I taught myself how to make these friendship bracelets. I made several for myself and by request I made one for Stephen. Well, he wore it to school and some of his friends saw it. They asked for some, so Stephen brought me home their orders and we decided to charge a quarter each. When all was said and done I had made twenty bucks. Anyhow, not to long ago I wore one to our home school co-op classes and my friend Jackie saw it. She asked for one and on receiving it asked if I could show her how to make them. I did. She then showed our other friend Ali who showed her little sister Grace who made one for my friend and her older brother David who is in the marines. Apparently David wore it and when he was home over Christmas he asked if Ali and Grace would make him a hundred so he could take them back with him for the guys. Now a bunch of people wear them as a reminder to pray for David and the guys who are going to war. Isn't it amazing how something so small can go such a long way.

If anyone wants one let me know and I'll give you one free of charge, just remember to pray for our troops.

My Weekend

Casting Crowns & Kutless!!!! They came to Rochester so Spencer, our friend Tim, and myself went. We really went to see Kutless, who disappointingly only played four song, but Casting Crowns was rather awesome.
And I found a new band that I like called Caleb.
Spencer and Tim are very happy that they are my friend, I can get the best seating. I got to sit right next to the stage, but they weren't allowing pictures that close. Good Times!

Dog Sitters

Well, this weekend we were dog sitting for some friends that are out of town. They have two dog, a little jack russle, and a standard poodle. We only had them for Saturday night and they go back this afternoon. This morning as we were heading out the door for church Duffy ( the pure bread very expensive poodle) got out. He doesn't know us, it was the first time we watched him, and so he didn't come when we called. Spencer and dad tried to get a hold on him but it wasn't working. As they took one step towards him, he took three away. Then he started running down the drive way, across the road, and towards town. Spencer followed him at top speed. Dad got the car and drove ahead of them to try and cut him off and Samantha walked Maxi ( the jack russle) down to the sidewalk to see if Duffy would came when he saw Maxi. As all this is going on mom and I are sitting at home waiting for them to come back. We then get a phone call from the church asking where Spencer was, he plays guitar in the youth band and they were doing morning worship. Mom replies that "the dog got out and I have no idea where anybody is and if you look out the window you might see them if they got that far and if you want to send someone out to find Spencer that's fine but I have no idea where he is." Sometime after this dad returns without Spencer and without the dog . He states that the dog took off into the woods. Mom tells him that the church is looking for Spencer. Dad then says that he'll go get Spencer, so he starts walking up the hill, in three feet snow, in his dress pants. We are now thinking that we are never going to make it to church. As we were dwelling in our thoughts of dismay a truck pulls up to the house. Spencer gets out. The church had sent rescue parties! Spencer informs us that they HAVE the dog, but in the process Duff bit him. I don't blame Duffy for what he did, he was just scared of being chased and then grabbed by a stranger. So there we were. Spencer was wet, light headed, bleeding, and nauseated. He throw up once, declared he was fine and went and played Sunday morning worship.

(Samantha and Dad came back in time and Spencer's injury wasn't serious)

Winter Jam

Last weekend we went to "Winter Jam" in PA. It was amazing!!! We saw Fireflight, Newsboys, Third Day, Tenth Avenue North, Sidewalk Prophets, Revive, and several more bands that I can't remember. There were more people there then there are in my entire town...doubled. However, the nice gentle men at the door wouldn't let my camera in, they said that there were no professional looking cameras allowed in. I had to use my cell phone. We got are picture taken with Tenth Avenue North!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this band! Good times.
